Job Summary
The Superintendent coordinates all site construction activities and supervises all field personnel as required to successfully complete the project on schedule and within budget. This includes coordinating workers, material and equipment, ensuring that specifications are being followed, maintaining the highest level of quality, administering good construction safety practices keeping the project on schedule and within budget. Reports to Project Manager.
Essential Functions
- Coordinate and supervise all construction activities.
- Maintain construction schedule, identifies and solves problems.
- Direct all field personnel to achieve completion of the project on schedule, within budget, with quality workmanship that conforms to the original plans and specifications.
- Order materials and schedules inspections as necessary throughout the project.
- Understand the project plans and specifications and effectively communicate with the various field personnel.
- Laying out various structures pertaining to the project plans.
- Maintain positive relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers, inspectors and other employees.
- Promote job site safety, encourages safe work practices and rectifies job site hazards immediately.
- Maintain an organized and clean job site.
- Produce daily construction reports.
- Project development coordination.
- Any other duties delegated by executive management.

- Experienced in Primavera software, Word and Excel.
Education/Experience
- 4-year degree preferred, but not required, with concentration in construction management.
- 7 years of experience assisting or supervising construction projects, both site and building, of increasing complexity on projects of $10 million dollars or more.
- Experienced in scheduling, ordering, field supervision, quality control and production of all phases of commercial construction.
- Experienced in managing multiple projects.
- OSHA 30 Hour
